The Core Team

Fr John Klein

Fr John is a Legionary of Christ priest ordained in December of 2017. His love of music began at a very young age learning a variety of instruments and composing many original songs. His profound love for Jesus mixed with his quirky and fun musical style gives the collective their unique energetic feel and fun evangelistic style.

Emily Roman

Emily is a Consecrated Woman of Regnum Christi whose gift for harmonies and powerful soulful voice brings a deep richness and beauty to our music. She’s also a well-trained percussionist who fearlessly keeps us all tapping our feet and moving to the rythym of the beat.

Fr Jaime Lorenzo

Fr Jaime is a Legionary of Christ priest ordained in September of 2020. His love for music and composition is paralleled with his gift of videography which has helped bring our songs to a different level and reach. He’s the guy fiddling around with harmonies and piano riffs while occasionally whipping out the cameras to record awesome footage.

Jill Swallow

Jill is a consecrated woman of Regnum Christi whose gift of music and incredible voice is deeply founded on her inseparable love for Jesus. Most of her original compositions come as a fruit of prayer and her ever-deepening relationship with Christ. She’s the one who most often reminds us to pray before we co-write or sing.

The Rest of the Family // Our Collaborators

Jack Dardis

Jack Dardis is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A lover of anything music, his powerful voice and multi-instrumental talent has added to the dynamism of the collective. Did you know he also has a band called “Wave Runner”?

Colleen McKenna

Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Colleen began writing original music at the age of 9 and has found it as a source of expression ever since! Each song she writes tells a story, whether it be Christian worship music or something you’d hear on the Country Radio.

Rae Hering

Rae has been a wonderful friend and musical support for the Collective ever since the Collective began. She beautifully collaborated in one of the songs that is soon to be released this year. She is a Nashville local and is quite active in the local music scene.

How we co-write our music

Many people have asked us how we write our music. More often than not, we start with somebody from the team coming in with a riff/melody/bridge/verse or whichever tiny part of a song. We discuss the theme, most probably without even touching any instrument or singing the song, and adding a moment of prayer to it too. After we let that sink in, we then start hashing out possible structures, melody development, experimental hooks, and a ton of wordsmithing. There has never been a consistent method or a step-by-step process, as our songs are very Spirit-filled and Spirit-led. It doesn’t make much sense to limit the power of Spirit-led inspiration. In fact, many songs (or parts of songs) have come through our co-writing sessions, but only a few have actually left us satisfied. It’s not an easy task, but once a song is born, we’re left with an immense sense of satisfcation.
